Skalo is a company specialising in the fish product sector founded some 35 years ago.

Skalo experienced the development of the Italian fish product market, on which it played a leading role, and has grown constantly over the years.

Skalo was founded in 1978 by Comm. Giulio Gagliardini, and later became the Holding of a group that produces a wide range of high quality competitive fishing and sea products sold in Italy and Europe.

SKALO Group’s essential operating policy which is based on the principle of high product quality, knowledge, professionalism of its staff and partnerships with many suppliers, has allowed SKALO to become a leading Italian company in this industry.

It is not a coincidence that the 24th Classification of leading Marche Region Companies, issued by the Merloni Foundation in November 2010, places SKALO in the first 10 Marche companies in terms of sales growth in 2009 (+18%) and 2010 (+24%).

Performance for 2011 is expected to be very good.
